Part-Time Program Guide
The Children’s Museum of the Upstate is seeking a Program Guide to assist in maintaining a safe, fun, engaging and educational Museum experience for all visitors and volunteers. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and will showcase excellent customer service. Program Guides are responsible for the safety and supervision on the Museum floor during open hours, and will also be assigned duties related to teaching classes, camps, daily lessons and demonstrations. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred. Must work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends and some holidays. Sundays are a must. Part-Time Celebrations Team Member
The Children’s Museum of the Upstate is seeking a Celebrations Host with a programming emphasis. As a member of our Celebrations team, the host would act as a liaison between party families and the museum. Candidates will demonstrate enthusiasm, positivity, and effective communication with both adults and children. The ideal applicant would have prior experience in customer service, food service, or informal education. Celebrations hosts will be responsible for party set-up and preparatory work, stellar visitor services, and creating engaging, mission-oriented experiences for our party families. Celebrations team members may be cross-trained in dynamic programming duties, further developing guest interaction skills. Part-time hours will include weekend days and may include some evenings.
