The Guest Services Team, as knowledgeable front-line staff, provides excellent, friendly customer service to our visitors. Greeting and welcoming our visitors, helping visitors with admission and memberships, informing them of daily activities, upcoming special events, and areas of interest are some of the Guest Services Team‘s daily responsibilities. All Guest Services Team members are cross-trained for retail sales in our museum store, The More to Explore Store. Weekend Birthday Party Host - Greenville Location
The Children’s Museum of the Upstate-Greenville is seeking candidates interested in working with children and honing hospitality and educational skills in a fast-paced environment. Join our team as a Birthday Party Guide and help us provide superior visitor experiences while also letting your creativity soar! Part-time Program Guide Positions - Greenville Location
The Children’s Museum of the Upstate is seeking a Program Guide to assist in maintaining a safe, fun, engaging and educational Museum experience for all visitors and volunteers. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and will showcase excellent customer service. Please see more detailed descriptions below:
LEGO Robotics Focus (Must be available during the school year)
The museum is currently looking for a Program Guide with experience with LEGOs and robotics to co-lead our First LEGO League Afterschool Team. This position is primarily in the afternoons from 4 PM – 6 PM with the opportunity to carry out other Program Guide responsibilities during the week and weekends as well. The ideal candidate will have experience in Middle/High School LEGO Robotics. Exhibit and Public Program Focus (Year-Round)
Program Guides are responsible for the safety and supervision on the Museum floor during open hours, and will also be assigned duties related to teaching classes, camps, daily lessons and demonstrations. Bachelor's degree in a related field or experience working with children preferred. Must work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends and some holidays.
