Program Guide

The Children’s Museum of the Upstate is seeking a Program Guide to assist in maintaining a safe, fun, engaging and educational Museum experience for all visitors and volunteers. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and will showcase excellent customer service. Program Guides are responsible for the safety and supervision on the Museum floor during open hours, and will also be assigned duties related to teaching classes, camps, daily lessons and demonstrations. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred. Must work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends and some holidays. Program Guide with Afterschool Focus

The Children’s Museum of the Upstate is seeking a Program Guide to assist in afterschool programs. The ideal candidate will have experience participating in or working with children in FIRST LEGO League, or have experience teaching coding skills. This person must be available Mondays and Wednesdays at 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. to work with FIRST LEGO League and Junior FIRST LEGO League teams. Program Guides are also responsible for the safety and supervision on the Museum floor during open hours, and will also be assigned duties related to teaching classes, camps, daily lessons and demonstrations. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred. Must work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends and some holidays.
