  • In 2017, the museum welcomed visitors from 48 states plus 9 foreign countries.

  • In 2014, TCMU was the first children’s museum to be named a Smithsonian Affiliate.
  • Since opening our doors to the public in July of 2009, the total economic impact of TCMU on South Carolina is $75,316,643.
  • More than 14,500 school children from counties across Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina attended the museum with their classrooms in 2017.
