Baby + Me Yoga

Baby + Me Yoga is led by a certified yoga instructor. This is a great way for new moms to take care of their bodies while bonding with their little ones.  Babies 4 weeks – 12 months. Click here to see dates, times, and registration information.

Baby + Me Story Time

Fridays at 9:30 a.m.
Join us each Friday at 9:30 AM for a special Story Time for our littlest friends – 4 weeks to 18 months. This Story Time is meant to provide a special setting for adult and baby. Other Story Times are offered at 10 am, 11 am, and 1 pm for all children between 0 and 5!

Parent Workshops

Led by: Jessica Hayes (TCMU VP of Education), Lauren Van Pelt (Lactation Consultant) & Carolina Raycroft (TCMU Educator, Mother, & Yoga Instructor)
Featuring: Greenville Professionals on a variety of relevant topics appropriate for new parents, with the opportunity to engage in healthy discussion.

Is “Tummy Time” hard for you and baby? Learn to understand infant stress cues, the keys for successful transitioning into tummy time and why tummy time is important in nurturing self-soothing and developmental skills.

June 4: Adjustment to Parenthood with Susannah Baldwin, Licensed Professional Counselor
Registration Opens May 14
Learn about the ‘new normal’ of parenthood and prepare to set realistic expectations to help normalize the transitional time to parenthood. Coping skills will be taught and guidelines will be suggested for taking care of yourself and your relationship.

June 18: Hands-on CPR with Dr. Larisa Coldebella and Dr. Ryan Duhé, ER Attendings

Learn the skills of infant CPR in this hands-on workshop then engage in Q&A with an ER Doctor. Certification is not included.

July 16: Transitioning to Solid Foods with Janet Williams, MEd, RE, LD
Registration Opens June 25
What foods are safe and nutritious? What foods should be avoided? How much protein does my baby need? Learn about cultural perspectives and gain important information on development, food modeling, nutrition, food allergies, food safety, menu planning and more.

July 30: Calming through Infant Massage with Lorraine Cragan-Sullivan
Registration Opens July 9
Introduction to the basics and benefits of infant massage: enhanced sleep, motor development, and improved bonding.
