Media Literacy: 10am-11am

Ages 3—5
Our Little Learners in Media Literacy will explore content related to media and how it makes a difference in their lives. Children are exposed to media in all forms from a very early age! Children will explore storybooks to figure out who is telling a story and why. They will learn that they can tell their own stories, too!

Ages 5—7 and 8—10
Media introduces us to many stories – some informative, some amusing, some persuasive! In this track, homeschoolers will get an in-depth look at the role media plays in our lives. This track utilizes our newly renovated 7 News Studio to give homeschoolers a chance to create their own media and to learn to communicate their own ideas.
STEAM Track: 1pm-2pm

Ages 3—5
Dive into your homeschooler’s curiosity with age-appropriate science. Science in early childhood is about following their curiosity and open-ended experiences. Little Scientists will learn various skills as they participate in engaging science-related activities, books, media, and more.

Ages 5—7 and 8—10
Science is all about observations, investigations, and hands-on experiences. Homeschoolers will explore science concepts and challenges each week to figure out “how stuff works” and the importance of science. Additionally, students will explore safe science practices and break stereotypes by finding out that anyone can be a scientist!
