Publix Market

The Publix Market is a child-scaled grocery store designed to give visitors an authentic marketing experience. Children move through the store making selections and putting them into child-sized shopping carts. They check out their selections at two cash registers. A large variety of foods from many cultures are available to shoppers in real packaging. The supermarket will give children a chance to learn and play in highly realistic environment, with their imaginations fully engaged.

As both customers and employees, visitors will discover important information about nutrition, food origins and food preparation as they pretend to bake cakes, stock fruits and vegetables, bag groceries and collect ingredients for wholesome and delicious meals. The market is also home to What’s Cookin’ Kitchen, a workshop area where children and families can take part in real cooking experiences facilitated by staff and guest chefs.
