What does it mean to be a hero?

The pandemic has expanded our notion of what it means to be a hero–and we’ve seen firsthand how many heroes are among us. Join us at TCMU-Greenville as we celebrate the MANY American heroes that serve and support our Greenville community, and country, every single day! This family-friendly event will recognize and celebrate our community’s doctors and nurses, armed forces, Purple Heart recipients, first responders, grocery store workers and many others.

Families can:

  • Participated in a bootcamp led by the National Guard!

  • Explore the inside of Greenville firetrucks and other first responder vehicles!

  • Participate in fun patriotic crafts!

  • And learn from real-life community heroes and more!

  • The entire museum will be open for free play.

  • Food and beverages will be available for purchase from local food trucks.

Celebrating America’s Heroes
will take place at the Greenville location at 9AM, 11:30AM and 2PM. Social distancing will be enforced, and all adults will be required to wear masks. Families can purchase tickets by the total amount in their party—options ranging from a Family of 2 ($25) to a Family of 6 ($65). TCMU members received discounted prices! Member IDs checked upon entry.
