LUNCH OPTIONS

Please ensure you have read through our lunch policy guidelines below. Please reach out to our booking team if you have any questions:

  • Subway Lunches: Click here to download a lunch order form.
    • You can select this lunch option at the time of booking. The order form will be sent along with your original invoice.

    • Lunch orders must be placed no later than two weeks prior to your visit date.

    • You will receive your scheduled lunch time with your itinerary the week prior to your visit date.

    • Large groups may need to be split into multiple lunch times due to limited café space.

    • The museum does not have staff members specifically responsible for handling or facilitating lunches in the café space during your lunch time. We ask that everyone who uses our café for lunches cleans up all trash, wipes down their eating areas, and follows the schedule.

  • Cafe Lunch Options:
    • TCMU is now able to offer all booking schools and groups a scheduled time to eat lunch with their group in the Café to better serve all visiting students if needed. Large groups may need to be split into multiple lunch times due to limited café space. These times will be provided to you on the itinerary that will be sent to your teachers the week prior to your school’s visit.
    • TCMU will provide carts labeled with each of the day’s visiting school’s names for teachers to bring in lunches for groups having lunch in the café. Teachers/Chaperones will unload these lunches from buses and bring them into the museum. Staff will then take these labeled carts to the café space so they are in place at your scheduled lunch time. Please note, the café space is not monitored by staff.

    • These carts will be taken to the 2nd floor by TCMU-G staff within 10 minutes of your scheduled departure time.

    • Please let us know if your group plans to utilize café space for lunch in advance to aid TCMU staff in allocating times to all groups on a given date.

    • TCMU will continue to schedule a time inside the café for your lunch as standard practice, so your group will have a lunch time in the café space scheduled if cases of inclement weather should arise that inhibit picnic lunches. This time will be provided upon your arrival.

    • The museum does not have staff members specifically responsible for handling or facilitating lunches in the café space during your lunch time. We ask that everyone who uses our café for lunches cleans up all trash, wipes down their eating areas, and follows the schedule.

    • The Cromer market is available for all guests to buy sandwiches, snacks and drinks.

  • Picnic Lunch Options:
    • You may choose to have a picnic on a public space, such as the Heritage Green lawn. You are responsible for the storage of your lunches for outdoor picnic options.  We recommend putting all your lunches on one bus for easy access. Please remember to bring trash bags to clean up your lunches after picnicking on the lawn.
    • TCMU will continue to schedule a time inside the café for your lunch, so you will have a lunch time in the café space scheduled if cases of inclement weather should arise. This time will be provided upon your arrival.
