TIMING AND PRICING OPTIONS:


PRESCHOOL AGE CAMP 

Half Day Only: 9AM-12PM or 1PM-4PM 
$150 (members) and $175 (non-members) 
Campers must be three years old by the start of camp and potty trained. 

ELEMENTARY AGE CAMPS (K5-2nd or 3rd-5th)

Half Day Only: 9AM-12PM or 1PM-4PM 
$150 (members) and $175 (non-members)  

Full Day: 9AM-4PM (Includes Lunch Bunch) 
$300 (members) and $350 (non-members) 

Lunch Bunch Hour Add-On: 12PM-1PM 
$30/Camper for half day campers only (only at TCMU-Greenville)

DINOSAUR DISCOVERIES  
June 7-11 
Explore the hidden secrets of dinosaurs through replica fossils and dinosaur art projects.  Test your prehistoric knowledge with Jurassic Jeopardy and find out what it’s like to be a paleontologist!   
 
ART ADVENTURES 
June 14-18 
Mosaic making, felt painting and Tie-Dye, OH MY!  Explore art and artists of all different cultures by testing your own artistic talents and creating your own art gallery.   
 
GALACTIC VOYAGERS 
June 21-25  
3, 2, 1 BLAST OFF!  Celebrate the journey to space and travel through the Milky Way with TCMU! Explore constellations, craters and build your own out-of-this-world rocket ship.
  
OPERATION OCEAN 
June 28-July 2
Grab your goggles, dive gear and surfboard and splash into OPERATION OCEAN with TCMU! Dive deep into the oceans of the world and explore all kinds of aquatic habitats and creatures and the ways we can help preserve our ocean life. 
  
PLANES, TRAINS AND AUTOMOBILES 
July 5-9 
Buckle up and get ready to ZOOM-ZOOM! Learn all about speed in this action-packed week of camp, which explores the world of modern transportation and engineering. You can even create your own speed machine!  
 
FARM, FOOD, FUN  
July 12-16 
Do you know where your food comes from? Join TCMU for a week of farmhouse-fun and get your hands dirty with some planting projects and discover all kinds of farm animals.  By the end of the week, you can build your very own farm-to-table menu!   
 
IMAGINATION CREATION 
July 19-23  
Grab your wizards' hat, princess tiara and pirate eye patch as you journey through the fantasy story YOU create! Build castles, discover dragons and go on an exciting treasure hunt during this magical week of camp!  
 
SUPER SCIENTISTS 
July 26-30 
Be sure to put on your lab coats and thinking caps for this STEM powered camp with TCMU! Use the scientific method, create your own slime and experience a volcanic explosion as we explore all things SCIENCE.   
 
AROUND THE WORLD WITH TCMU 
August 2-6 
Visit other continents and explore new cultures all within the walls of TCMU!  Learn about languages, music, dance and food from all over the world. From African plains to frozen tundras, there is so much to discover!   

SUMMER CAMP FAQs: 
How do I register my child for summer camp? 
  • After deciding on which week is best for your child, please click on one of the colored boxes above the themes based on your child's age. From there, you will be directed to our payment portal to select the week/theme that you would like to enroll your child in at TCMU Summer Camp. Full payment must be made at the time of registration.

How do I know which age group is best for my child?
  • Pre-K: 3 years old and potty trained to incoming Kindergarteners
  • K5-2nd: Kindergarten to incoming 2nd graders
  • 2nd-5th: ​2nd grade to incoming 5th graders
 
Is food provided for my child?  
  • Full day camps include time for lunch 
  • ​For half day camps, you can purchase Lunch Bunch (12PM-1PM) for $30 at TCMU-Greenville only 
  • All campers who are participating in a full day or camp, or Lunch Bunch, must bring their own lunch and water bottle 

How do I drop-off and pick-up my child? 
  • Drop-off and pick-up will take place outside of the museum.
  • Specific instructions will be circulated the week prior to your child’s camp to the e-mail provided.  

What measures are TCMU taking to make summer camp safe for my child? 
  • Camp class sizes will be limited to 12 children or less. 
  • Campers will remain with their camp pods at all times. 
  • Museum capacity at large will be monitored during free museum play. 
  • Every camper’s temperature will be checked prior to entering camp. 
  • All TCMU staff will be required to have their temperature checked and to wear masks. 
  • Classrooms, exhibits and learning spaces will be cleaned regularly. 

What happens if I need to cancel my child’s summer camp? 
  • TCMU does not offer refunds for summer camps.
  • In the event of a cancellation, funds may be moved to another camp if space is available.
