For the 2020-2021 school year, The Children’s Museum of the Upstate will be partnering with World Explorers to present full-day Museum School classes (8AM-3PM) and after-school care (3PM-6PM) at TCMU Greenville and TCMU Spartanburg.
As parents navigate a shifting school schedule of both in-person and virtual learning, Museum School: Explorers Outpost will provide learning spaces that follow CDC guidelines for health and safety, allowing students to study in small cohorts while having full access to the museum.
Specifically, full-day Museum School classes will provide guided assistance for eLearning curriculum, while also offering other enriching activities and learning opportunities, for children grades K-5th at our Greenville location, and K-2nd at our Spartanburg location. Your child can choose classes ranging from Inventor’s Workshop, Artworks, Book Adventures, to Global Kitchens and more! After-school care will provide the same enrichment activities, as well as homework help if needed.
Classes and programs will be available for purchase in bulk, by week or even day to day—to allow for flexibility of changing school schedules based on health guidelines. Tuition costs will include organic breakfast, snack and lunch. Tuition also includes guided eLearning assistance, daily enrichment class, museum exploration, outside play and all project supplies. Children will have dedicated learning spaces with access to high-speed internet and outlets.
